CDE 4P – Casing Drilling Enhanced with GB 4P Thread


GB Casing Drilling Enhanced 4 Pitch, Large OD, Deep Stab. No Cross Thread Connection. Used for conventional running, rotating to aid in string advancement, drilling with casing/liners, or driving. Internal shoulder for heavier wall pipe.

Specialty semi-premium connection machined from heavy wall Coupling Stock and forged blanks. The GB CDE 4P Connection performances exceed that of standard API connections. Connection designed with 4-Pitch threadform for easy-stabbing, fast makeup without cross-threading. Innovative, multiple taper thread design (box only) reduces localized bearing stresses in critical areas for improved fatigue resistance. Pin noses meet in the center for positive indication of proper field makeup. Pin noses, designed for maximum bearing face area, provide high torque resistance.
